The BROADCASTERS FOUNDATION OF AMERICA raised over $250,000 to help broadcasters in need at MONDAY's 2019 Celebrity Golf Tournament at the QUAKER RIDGE GOLF CLUB in SCARSDALE, NY, with over 175 broadcasters and celebrities on hand. The event has raised more than $5 million since its inception.
“The money raised from yesterday’s event comes at a time when we are helping more broadcasters and their families than ever before,” said FOUNDATION Pres. JIM THOMPSON. “This year, we will distribute $1.5 million in aid to those in our industry who need it most. The Celebrity Golf Tournament is one of our biggest fundraisers, and we are grateful to our sponsors and players.”
