Meteorologist Tom Hauf Joins EnvisionVirtualNetworks Weather Team

ENVISIONVIRTUALSERVICES Weather has added former SYRACUSE television meteorologist TOM HAUF to its team. HAUF spent almost 13 years as Chief Meteorologist at CBS affiliate WTVH-TV/SYRACUSE after stints at crosstown NBC affiliate WSTM-TV and at NBC affiliate WWBT-TV/RICHMOND. He has also served as an adjunct professor for the last 29 years at SYRACUSE UNIVERSITY and worked at CUSTOMWEATHER, INC.

“I've been passionate about weather forecasting since childhood, delivering my first forecast at age 10,” said HAUF. “Weather is one of a very few things in the world that affects every single person every day. Everything that has or is happening is linked directly to the weather and radio is the best means for getting the weather message to the public.”
