Travis Place Named Ops/Brands Mgr. For NRG Media Wausau/ Stevens Point, WI, Kori McKay Upped to PD For WHTQ

TRAVIS PLACE has been named Operations and Brands Manager for NRG MEDIA WAUSAU/STEVENS POINT, WI, including Rock WBCV (BIG CHEESE 107.9), where he hosts "TRAV in the Morning," as well as Classic Rock WGLX, Top 40 WHTQ (HOT 96.7) and Country WYTE (Y-106.5).

Commenting on the appointment, which was effective SEPTEMBER 1st, GM ALEESE FIELDER said, “Managing, promoting and aligning our station brands to match each station’s unique persona is just part of the newly redefined role that today’s operations professionals perform.  TRAVIS has the market experience and leadership capabilities to lead all of our stations in today’s competitive and ever-changing landscape to achieve these goals.”

In addition, KORI McKAY will move from the role of APD to PD for WHTQ. Added FIELDER,  “KORI has exhibited tremendous professional growth over the past year, and she is committed to developing and mentoring the team at HOT 96.7 to benefit our listeners and our advertisers."
