ATLAS MUSIC PUBLISHING has signed a joint venture with legendary producer QUINCY JONES. The relationship dates back to when key executives, RICHARD STUMPF and PHIL CIALDELLA worked with him at CHERRY LANE MUSIC.
Commented ATLAS founder STUMPF, “My history with QUINCY dates back to the mid-2000’s. I’ve never met a more inspiring and gracious person with such worldly knowledge beyond music. When QUINCY talks to you, he is genuinely interested in what’s going on in your world. I’m sure this is one of the qualities that make him such a creative genius. He brings the best out of people. Through this joint venture, ATLAS is humbled to be able to support QUINCY, ADAM FELL and the rest of their team as they bring the best out of young writers, who like us, are drawn to his magic.”
Added QUINCY, "It's an absolute honor to join forces with ATLAS, and my brothers RICH and SCOOTER [BRAUN], to create a home for not only incredible musicians, but incredible songs. A great song can make the worst singer in the world a star, but the three greatest singers in the world can't save a bad song! We're looking forward to creating a publishing community filled with only the best of the best songs and human beings.”
Earlier this year, ATLAS was acquired by ITHACA HOLDINGS, which is led by SB PROJECTS founder SCOOTER BRAUN, whose clients include JUSTIN BIEBER, ARIANA GRANDE, DEMI LOVATO, J. BALVIN, ZACH BROWN BAND, DAN & SHAY and TORI KELLY, among others.
Said BRAUN, “QUINCY JONES is an undeniable legend with a proven ear and eye for true talent - I’ve admired him my entire life. It’s an honor to have him as a partner in our publishing business, making the possibilities of what we can provide to our writers and artists endless,”
