CHRIS CARLIN has exited middays at ENTERCOM Sports WFAN-A-F/NEW YORK. Co-hosts MAGGIE GRAY and BART SCOTT will continue in the 1-3p (ET) weekday slot for now.
CARLIN tweeted WEDNESDAY afternoon (9/11) that this "was my last day at WFAN" and thanked ENTERCOM, previous owner CBS RADIO, and co-hosts SCOTT and GRAY ("we bonded and responded"). CARLIN, SCOTT, and GRAY were named as MIKE FRANCESA's replacement in afternoons at WFAN in NOVEMBER 2017; when FRANCESA ended his "retirement" shortly thereafter, CARLIN, SCOTT, and GRAY were moved to middays.CARLIN served as FRANCESA and CHRIS RUSSO's producer on "MIKE AND THE MAD DOG" (FRANCESA dubbed CARLIN "The Continent" for his size) for several years and then anchored on WFAN morning shows "IMUS IN THE MORNING" and "BOOMER & CARTON" before working at sister Sports WIP/PHILADELPHIA as afternoon host.
