Sammy Cruise Named OM For WOKQ/Portsmouth, NH

Less than a month after being promoted to APD/MD at HUBBARD RADIO Country WIRK (NEW COUNTRY 103.1)/WEST PALM BEACH, SAMMY CRUISE is leaving to join TOWNSQUARE MEDIA/PORTSMOUTH, NH as OM/Brand Mgr., with direct oversight of Country WOKQ. He succeeds ROBBY BRIDGES, who, as reported earlier this morning (NET NEWS 9/13), is stepping down.

CRUISE spent the last 11 years with WIRK in various capacities, including afternoon drive, with previous career stops in SARASOTA, LAS VEGAS and ALBUQUERQUE.

“I’ve had an amazing run in FLORIDA working with some of the best in the business,” said CRUISE. “I’m very much looking forward to joining the great team at TOWNSQUARE MEDIA! An amazing opportunity like this doesn’t come along very often, and I’m very excited to get started.
