JACOBS MEDIA will once again take radio broadcasters on a tour of the CONSUMER ELECTRONICS SHOW in LAS VEGAS, with this year's tours set for JANUARY 8th and 9th. The private, curated 90-minute guided tour follows a CONSUMER TECHNOLOGY ASSOCIATION specialist to key booths, with opportunities to talk to vendors and experts, followed by a separate 60-minute tour led by FRED and PAUL JACOBS. 2020 will be the fourth year JACOBS MEDIA has offered the tour.
“We began bringing broadcasters to CES because we believed it was essential to understand how radio fits into where technology is heading,” said JACOBS MEDIA President FRED JACOBS. “This year marks our 11th CES and each year brings new ideas and vision for how radio can continue to transform itself to remain relevant and successful. In past years, we’ve visited GOOGLE, AMAZON, automakers like FORD, HONDA, and TOYOTA, autonomous car displays, and many others.”
“Our first tour at CES was limited to CEOs, and we knew we were onto something because the response was huge,” added VP/GM PAUL JACOBS. “In recent years, we’ve opened our tours to anyone in the industry. Whether you’re a GM, a DOS, a PD, or work in digital, you will benefit from attending CES.”
The RADIO ADVERTISING BUREAU will also partner with JACOBS MEDIA for a private dinner for attendees. “The RAB is excited to once again partner with JACOBS MEDIA at CES,” said RAB Pres./CEO ERICA FARBER. “This is a wonderful opportunity to see during the day what the future has in store and then in the evening to share and learn from all of the broadcasters what the experience means to them.”
