Independent artist CRAIG MORGAN will reunite with BBR MUSIC GROUP's BROKEN BOW RECORDS for the promotion of his new single, “The Father, My Son, And The Holy Ghost,” a tribute to his late son JERRY. Listen to the song here. BROKEN BOW RECORDS was MORGAN's label home for six years (2002-2008), and saw him through trademark hits like "Redneck Yacht Club," “International Harvester," and “That’s What I Love About Sunday.”
Fellow Country musician BLAKE SHELTON kick-started a TWITTER campaign in support of MORGAN's new single last week, stating that it's a song he would “gladly give up [his] spot on Country radio for.” SHELTON's campaign gained support from several celebrities, including fellow Country artists BLANCO BROWN, LUKE COMBS, CHARLES ESTEN and COLE SWINDELL as well as other celebrities including KELLY CLARKSON, CARSON DALY, ELLEN DEGENERES, GWEN STEFANI, NBC-TV's "TODAY" show and more.
“I am truly humbled by the response to the song so far, and to my friend BLAKE SHELTON for what he has done to honor JERRY,” said MORGAN. “It’s incredible to reunite with the team at BROKEN BOW to share this song with radio, and my hope is it will be a help to those who need it most.” The song is being sent to Country radio today.
