PITTSBURGH COMMUNITY BROADCASTING CEO TERRY O’REILY told the staff of News/Talk WESA and Triple A WYEP about a reorganization of the top management of both stations.
The GM positions are being replaced with Station Managers. Current WYEP Dir./Content MIKE SAUTER becomes its Station Manager.
WESA GM JOHN SUTTON becomes VP/Audiences and Revenue Development, overseeing Membership, Major Gifts, Underwriting, the former Marketing Department (now Audience Development & Marketing) and Digital. A nationwide search for the WESA Station Manager will commence soon.
ERIN KEANE SCOTT has been appointed the new Dir./Audiences & Brand Strategy and will start at the end of SEPTEMBER. She joins PITTSBURGH COMMUNITY BROADCASTING from CARNEGIE MELLON UNIVERSITY, where she has served as Director/Marketing and Communications for the University’s School of Drama.
Finally, the Digital Dir. of both stations will be coordinated by SARA KOVASH.
