BuzzFeed's Lee Brown Joining Spotify As VP/Global Sales Strategy

SPOTIFY has found its replacement for departing sales chief BRIAN BENEDIK, with AD AGE reporting that BUZZFEED Chief Revenue Officer LEE BROWN is joining the streaming music and podcast service as VP of Global Sales Strategy. BROWN will report to CFO BARRY MCCARTHY,

BROWN formerly worked at TUMBLR as Global Head of Brand Partnerships, GROUPON as SVP/National Sales, and YAHOO! as AE, Regional VP and VP/East Coast Sales U.S. and CANADA. BENEDIK announced in JUNE that he planned to exit SPOTIFY in the FALL (NET NEWS 6/27).
