ALL ACCESS NASHVILLE sends condolences to MCA NASHVILLE's JOSH TURNER and his team after his road crew's tour bus, which was pulling a trailer, crashed late last night (9/18) following a show in PASO ROBLES, CA. TURNER and his band were not on the bus. One crew member -- identified as 64-year-old DAVID TURNER of MISSISSIPPI (not related to the singer) -- is confirmed dead. Seven others were injured, according to local media reports. Police reported the bus drove off a 50-foot cliff and landed in sand.
TURNER has postponed the remainder of his SEPTEMBER tour dates in the wake of the accident. He had seven more shows scheduled this month in WASHINGTON, OREGON, CALIFORNIA, NEVADA and ARIZONA. A spokesperson for the singer told ALL ACCESS, “JOSH TURNER and his road family have suffered a devastating loss. Please keep the crew, band and JOSH in your thoughts and prayers. All remaining shows in SEPTEMBER will be rescheduled for a later date.”
TURNER is expected to post a personal message about the accident on social media soon.
