Luminary's Fall Lineup: Six New Podcasts, Including Two From Team Coco

LUMINARY has announced six new original shows and one returning podcast for the subscription podcast service's FALL season. One of the shows, "VOCAL POINT WITH MARTINA MCBRIDE," was separately announced YESTERDAY (NET NEWS 9/20).

The other podcasts coming up include a scripted comedy, "FRONTIER TWEEN," from CONAN O'BRIEN's TEAM COCO, starring O'BRIEN and MARIA BAMFORD, with 10 episodes to be released simultaneously on TUESDAY (9/24); the weekly "METAPHYSICAL MILKSHAKE WITH RAINN WILSON & REZA ASLAN," debuting next WEDNESDAY (9/25) and produced by WILSON's SOUL PANCAKE; THE RINGER's "SONIC BOOM," an audio documentary hosted by JORDAN RITTER CONN on the history of the SEATTLE SUPERSONICS from their 1966 debut to their controversial move to OKLAHOMA CITY in 2008, posting THURSDAYS starting OCTOBER 3rd; another TEAM COCO scripted comedy, the tech industry parody "SMARTR," with TIM HEIDECKER, KATE BERLANT, MITRA JOUHARI, and JOEL KIM BOOSTER, landing OCTOBER 29th; a new food podcast from MALCOLM GLADWELL and JACOB WEISBERG's PUSHKIN INDUSTRIES, "FOOD ACTUALLY WITH TAMAR ADLER"; and the return of LENA DUNHAM and ALISSA BENNETT's "THE C-WORD" in early NOVEMBER.
