Phran Galante Passes Away At 64

ALL ACCESS sends condolences to the family and friends of PHRAN GALANTE, who passed away earlier today (9/23) in NASHVILLE following a battle with lung cancer. She was 64.
During her career, which spanned NASHVILLE and NEW YORK, GALANTE worked at RCA RECORDS NASHVILLE, ARISTA NASHVILLE and BMG KIDZ. Throughout her record label career, she designed, orchestrated and executed music marketing plans for a variety of artists and projects. She also produced music videos for such artists as ALABAMA, K.T. OSLIN, RONNIE MILSAP and ALAN JACKSON. GALANTE served on the Board of Directors for the TENNESSEE PERFORMING ARTS CENTER (TPAC), and did extensive volunteer work in the NASHVILLE community.
She is survived by her husband of 29 years, former SONY MUSIC NASHVILLE Chairman JOE GALANTE; and her sister, LEADERSHIP MUSIC Executive Dir. DEBBIE LINN, as well as her parents and two brothers.
A celebration of her life will be held on WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 23rd at CONGREGATION MICAH in BRENTWOOD, TN. Further details will be forthcoming. The family asks that anyone wishing to honor her memory consider a donation to the T.J. MARTELL FOUNDATION’s PHRAN GALANTE Memorial Fund for Lung Cancer Research, or the PET COMMUNITY CENTER in her memory.
