Reporter and editor JOHN DANKOSKY is among the employees taking a voluntary buyout and exiting CONNECTICUT PUBLIC, the parent of CONNECTICUT PUBLIC RADIO News-Talk WNPR/HARTFORD and CONNECTICUT PUBLIC TELEVISION.
DANKOSKY, who also serves as the Exec. Editor of the NEW ENGLAND NEWS COLLABORATIVE and host of its weekly show "NEXT," has been with CONNECTICUT PUBLIC for 25 years, hosting "MORNING EDITION," "WHERE WE LIVE," and COLIN MCENROE's "THE WHEELHOUSE" over the years; his last day there will be NOVEMBER 1st, although the station reports that he said, “I hope to be very involved in the collaborative in the transition for CONNECTICUT PUBLIC, and I hope to be very involved in the collaborative in NEW ENGLAND moving forward past NOV. 1st.”
