Music industry publicist ELAINE SCHOCK and her husband, esteemed music journalist and author MIKAL GILMORE, have penned the memoir “Stay With Me,” set to be released by boutique publisher COOL TITLES on FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 1st. SCHOCK represents such longtime clients as WILLIE NELSON and TOBY KEITH via her company, SCHOCK INK.

The book was culled entirely from the couple’s FACEBOOK posts, and details GILMORE’s battle with tongue and throat cancer. It is described as “the initial volume in a moving trilogy about life, death, marriage, family, music … [and] a remarkable personal testimony of one couple's devastating, but ultimately life-affirming, experience. It is also a much-needed survival guide for those struggling with HPV-related cancer, and their loved ones.”
