The CINCINNATI ENQUIRER is reporting that retired Hall of Famer MARTY BRENNAMAN's replacement as lead radio voice of the CINCINNATI REDS on iHEARTMEDIA News-Talk WLW-A/CINCINNATI will be pre-game and post-game host and fill-in play-by-play broadcaster TOMMY THRALL.
THRALL joined the REDS crew this season from the minor league PENSACOLA BLUE WAHOOS, where he called the games on radio since 2012; he previously served as the radio voice of the QUAD CITIES RIVER BANDITS.
While the team has yet to make a formal announcement, BRENNAMAN and JEFF BRANTLEY discussed THRALL's ascension to the lead radio chair on THURSDAY night's post-game show after BRENNAMAN's final broadcast for the REDS.
