Miranda Lambert Recognized As 'Artist Of The Year' By RIAA

The RECORDING INDUSTRY OF AMERICA (RIAA) hosted its inaugural "RIAA Honors" event on CAPITOL HILL in WASHINGTON, DC last week. Hosted by RIAA Chairman and CEO MITCH GLAZIER, the event recognized VANNER RECORDS/RCA RECORDS' MIRANDA LAMBERT as Artist of the Year. LAMBERT was presented her award by singer-songwriter and longtime collaborator NATALIE HEMBY.

LAMBERT and HEMBY performed "Bluebird," a song off LAMBERT's upcoming alum, "Wildcard," due FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 1st. They also performed "Automatic," an ACM and CMA awarded Song of the Year.
