WBQB (B101.5)/Frederickburg, VA, Raises $140k For Children's National Hospital

CENTENNIAL BROADCASTING Hot AC WBQB (B101.5)/FREDERICKSBURG, VA, broadcast the 6th Annual CAREATHON to benefit CHILDREN'S NATIONAL HOSPITAL last week. During the live, 28-hour event at CHILDREN'S NATIONAL HOSPITAL in WASHINGTON, D.C., B101.5 listeners and sponsors pledged $140,085, a $4,825.08 increase over last year’s $135.259.92 total. The money will go directly to CHILDREN'S NATIONAL to help ensure every child can receive exceptional care, regardless of illness, injury or ability to pay.

Funds pledged through this event help ensure CHILDREN'S NATIONAL can provide world-class care to kids in the FREDERICKSBURG community and beyond.”

The B101.5 CAREATHON has attained significant growth year-over-year. The inaugural event in 2014, netted just over $35,000. Today, the six-year total pledged by B101.5 listeners and advertising partners has risen to $652.415.
