UNIVERSAL MUSIC PUBLISHING GROUP (UMPG) has signed BRAD TURSI to a global co-publishing deal, in addition to acquiring his catalog of hit songs. TURSI, a member of RCA NASHVILLE’s OLD DOMINION, has written nine #1 songs, including six of OLD DOMINION’s seven chart-toppers. His other hits include LUKE BRYAN's “Light It Up” and KENNY CHENSEY’s “Save It for a Rainy Day."
“Signing BRAD provides that unique opportunity to work with a hit songwriter who not only writes hits for OLD DOMINION, but also for other superstar artists," said UMPG NASHVILLE Chairman/CEO TROY TOMLINSON. "That, coupled with securing the rights to his entire back catalog means lots of opportunities for us. We are grateful for his trust in our team.”
TURSI added, “I’m so excited to work with a bunch of great folks that I’ve considered family for years. I am humbled and grateful to be part of the team.”
