'The Starters' Are Back With New NBA Podcast For The Athletic

They're Back
The basketball commentary team once known as the podcast "THE BASKETBALL JONES" and then as NBA TV's "THE STARTERS" has joined THE ATHLETIC to return to their podcast roots with a new daily NBA podcast.
TAS MELAS, PHIL "J.E. SKEETS" ELDER, LEIGH ELLIS, and TREY KIRBY, who exited NBA TV this spring after six years on the TURNER-owned cable network, are hosting "NO DUNKS," which will be distributed outside THE ATHLETIC's paywall.
The new show was announced by ELDER on TWITTER with a "press release" that quoted the four as saying simply, "We're back." Season preview episodes will commence on OCTOBER 14th.
