Judge Vacates Most Of Temporary Restraining Order Against Pacifica In WBAI/New York Case

In the latest twist to the shutdown saga at PACIFICA Variety WBAI/NEW YORK, Judge PETER H. MOULTON has vacated most of the temporary restraining order obtained by the station's staff against PACIFICA FOUNDATION (NET NEWS 10/8) pending an OCTOBER 18th hearing before the NEW YORK Supreme Court.

The order vacating the TRO leaves intact the prohibition against termination of WBAI employees, but otherwise allows the station to lock out the local staff and air national programming (NET NEWS 10/7).
