WZCY/Harrisburg Morning Co-Host Chachi Angelo Exits

Morning co-host CHARLES “CHACHI” ANGELO is out at CUMULUS Country WZCY (93.5 NASH FM)/HARRISBURG, PA, according to local news site PENN LIVE, which cites a tweet from ANGELO as its source.

In the WEDNESDAY evening (10/9) post, ANGELO, who co-hosted mornings with JENNA CLAY, said his position had been eliminated. In his tweet, ANGELO also joked that he now looks forward to “listening to SPOTIFY without feeling like a traitor.”

CLAY remains with CUMULUS, but in a "different capacity," according to her FACEBOOK page. The station’s web site now lists afternoon host ALEX HARLEY as the only local personality.

ANGELO joined the station — then known as “Z COUNTRY” — in 2012 (NET NEWS 5/21/12). Prior radio stops included RESULTS RADIO WGGE (FROGGY 99)/PARKERSBURG, WV, and KEYMARKET COMMUNICATIONS/PITTSBURGH.
