Capitol Music Group Celebrates With Lewis Capaldi

CAPITOL MUSIC GROUP presented singer-songwriter LEWIS CAPALDI with a plaque to commemorate mover 2.5 million U.S. adjusted track sales, including over 350 million combined streams of the U.S. Platinum single, "Someone You Loved." The plaque was presented following a recent sold-out performance in BOSTON.

"Someone You Loved" is the first Top 5 single from a debut U.K. artist since JULY 2018. The song topped the Hot AC chart last month and is currently #1 on the U.S. SHAZAM chart as it approaches #1 at Top 40 radio. Worldwide streams of the track have surpassed 1.2 billion. and it has been certified Platinum or greater in a total of 14 countries.

CAPALDI recently performed on ELLEN, JIMMY FALLON and is currently on a sold-out tour of NORTH AMERICA. When his 2020 tour of the U.K. and IRELAND sold out in mere seconds, he became the first artist in history to sell out arenas prior to the release of a debut album.
