Putting The 'Fun' In Fundraising

This past SUNDAY (10/6) listeners of iHEART Classic Rock WRVV (THE RIVER 97.3)/HARRISBURG, PA came out in force for GLENN & AMY’s "Second Annual 0.5K." Yes, that is correct, 0.5K. The event, drew over 550 people and raised over $7000, which will be split between the MDA of CENTRAL, PA, and HARRISBURG RIVER RESCUE. 

Participants received a refreshing beverage (read: beer) at the start of the 'race' and an energy snack (read: donut) at the halfway point. After crossing the finish line, each participant was given a 'pretentious bragging sticker' to impress their friends.  

Sponsor booths, a local band, a big-screen TV and photo ops with morning hosts GLENN HAMILTON and AMY WARNER's giant donut rounded out the day!
