Entercom Adding Rewind, Pause Functions To Broadcast Radio Streams On Radio.com

ENTERCOM is adding the capability to pause and rewind live radio streams to RADIO.COM. "RADIO.COM Rewind" debuts TODAY on the streaming app and website, starting with some of ENTERCOM's most popular Sports and News-Talk stations with more to be added in time. The company claims that Rewind is "the first-ever all-in-one on-demand audio experience for broadcast radio content."

The feature, including the ability to fast forward to live content at any time, pause and resume where a listener left off, and playback up to two times the original speed, will allow consumers to listen to the content within 24 hours of airing. An additional feature to be added in coming months will offer listeners the ability to share radio content clips on social media or by email. Rewind will also later be accessible via voice command devices.
