SUMMITMEDIA SPRINGFIELD, MO OM BO JAXON has departed the cluster after a little more than eight months on the job. JAXON, who also handled PD and morning co-host duties for Country KTTS, joined the company in FEBRUARY (NET NEWS 2/4). The cluster also includes Adult Hits KRVI (106.7 THE RIVER), Top 40 KSPW (POWER 96.5), and News/Talk KSGF-A/F. KTTS’s NANCY SIMPSON is handling mornings solo for now.
JAXON has returned to COLORADO and is seeking his next opportunity. SUMMITMEDIA’s programming pinch hitter, TOM OAKES, is back in the market handling the OM duties on an interim basis, as well as the PD duties for KTTS and KRVI. He also continues as interim PD for the company's Country WCYQ (THE NEW 100.5 THE WOLF)/KNOXVILLE.
Prior to SPRINGFIELD, JAXON was PD/morning host at KSE RADIO VENTURES KWOF (92.5 THE WOLF)/DENVER, which flipped to Sports in SEPTEMBER of last year (NET NEWS 9/5/18), and PD at Hot AC sister KIMN.
