AKON Lighting LA: An Experience In Art, Music And Awareness With AKON And DJ Snoopadelic

On FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 15th, an experience in art, music and awareness will take place with AKON LIGHTING LA hosting a two-day urban consciousness event presented by THE SPACE BETWEEN and DISCLOSUREFEST featuring live music including a DJ set by SNOOP DOGG (aka SNOOPADELIC), panel discussions challenging the status quo about mental health and pop culture, with special guest speakers AKON, CHICAGO artist and Designer BRANDON BREAUX and artist AMANDA SAGE.

A "consciously curated" art show will pair selections from popular street artists with visual artists. The event will also feature guided yoga and meditation, vegan food vendors and activities for families and children. Guests will join in this atmosphere to traverse new ideas, exchange with one another and explore who we are as human beings through an enchanted night of higher awareness, music, culture and shared intention.

The event takes place from 6p to midnight and will continue from 10a to 11p on SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 16th at 3BLACKDOT in Downtown LOS ANGELES at 1580 Jesse Street. The event will benefit AKON LIGHTING AFRICA, a project started in 2014 by music artist AKON, that aims to bring solar powered electricity to millions of households across AFRICA.
