CMA Fest Donates $2.2 Million To Foundation

The COUNTRY MUSIC ASSOCIATION (CMA) has donated $2.2 million of proceeds from its summer Country music festival, CMA FEST, to the organization's charitable arm, CMA FOUNDATION. The four-day festival, which featured over 300 artists this year, has -- over time -- helped the foundation raise more than $27 million to benefit children's music education programs throughout the country. 

“CMA is thrilled to be donating more than $2.2 million this year to the CMA FOUNDATION,” said CMA CEO SARAH TRAHERN. “We wouldn’t be able to make this investment without the continued support from our artist community as well as our dedicated fans.”
