ENTERCOM News KYW-A/PHILADELPHIA Community Affairs Reporter and weekend public affairs show "FLASHPOINT" host CHERRI GREGG has been named Journalist of the Year by the PHILADELPHIA ASSOCIATION OF BLACK JOURNALISTS (PABJ).
GREGG, recognized in the broadcast and online category, will be honored at the PABJ’s annual Awards and Scholarship Gala on NOVEMBER 2nd in PHILADELPHIA. She has been with KYW since 2010 and has served as Community Affairs Reporter since 2013, and won two NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF BLACK JOURNALISTS (NABJ) Salute To Excellence Awards for radio investigative reporting and podcasting this year.
SVP/Market Mgr. DAVID YADGAROFF said, “CHERRI is extremely deserving of this award. She is a champion of the community who is constantly searching for and reporting on the stories and issues that matter most to KYW NEWSRADIO listeners across the PHILADELPHIA area. I’m proud to call her a member of our team.”
