Congratulations to iHEARTMEDIA Top 40 KXXM (96.1 NOW)/SAN ANTONIO PD RUSSELL RUSH who recently wrapped up the 12th season of his Emmy Award-winning program "The RUSSELL RUSH Haunted Tour."
Earlier this year, RUSH was diagnosed with T-Cell Lymphoma and he tells ALL ACCESS, "I was in remission for about a week – but hopefully things are coming that will make my condition more chronic than terminal. Believe it or not, I met a doctor here in SAN ANTONIO at UT Health who is working on a drug that is a cure."
Despite the medical issues, RUSH said he decided to chronicle his journey through the show "to show people you can fight and win."
The Haunted Tour is a program all about the paranormal, exploring the history and hauntings of SAN ANTONIO and south TEXAS. "For 12 years we’ve spent the night in crazy places like old museums, decommissioned Navy ships, and even this season ... SEAWORLD, where employees for years have reported hauntings! We were also invited out to a log cabin that was the hideout for ALAMO 'Immortal 32' defenders before they went into the ALAMO, and the new owner says she feels like they’re still there," RUSH told ALL ACCESS.
