Report: KKEA/Honolulu Drops Analyst Jeff Portnoy From University Of Hawaii Basketball Broadcasts

BLOW UP LLC Sports KKEA-A-K224FR (ESPN HONOLULU)/HONOLULU has dropped analyst JEFF PORTNOY from UNIVERSITY OF HAWAII men's basketball broadcasts, reports the HONOLULU STAR ADVERTISER. BOBBY CURRAN will continue solo as play-by-play voice.

PORTNOY, an attorney who has called UH home games for several years, told the paper that he believes the radio station and not the school made the decision to drop him; his basketball talk show "HOOPS TALK" was also recently dropped by ESPN HONOLULU after over eight years.
