HUBBARD Classic Rock WDRV (97.1 THE DRIVE)/CHICAGO is gearing up for one of the most anticipated holidays of the year. THE DRIVE’s playlist will be demonically and delightfully dressed up… as “HALLOWEEN from A to Z!” beginning today (10/31) at noon, it’s wall-to-wall creepy classics arranged in alphabetical order.
From FRANKENSTEIN Monsters (EDGAR WINTER’s “Frankenstein”) to broom-riding witches (THE EAGLES’ “Witchy Woman”) you’ll find ghoulish ghosts, (RUSH’s “Ghost Of A Chance”) evil Spirits (THE POLICE’s “Spirits In The Material World”) even werewolves,(WARREN ZEVON’s “Werewolves of London” and THE GUESS WHO’s “Clap For The Wolfman”) magic and voodoo (TRIUMPH’s “Magic Power” and JIMI’s “Voodoo Chile.”)
WDRV’s Managing Dir./Branding and Content, ROB CRESSMAN, adds “THE DRIVE’s “HALLOWEEN from A to Z” provides nearly eight full hours of alphabetical madness and serves as CHICAGO’s official Classic Rock Soundtrack for the holiday. Now in its fourth year, the ghoulish list of songs has evolved to include dozens of familiar titles combined with deeper tracks and album cuts from beyond the grave!”
