Longtime and popular KFMB-A (760) and legendary then-Top 40 KFMB-F (B-100 FM)/SAN DIEGO VP/GM PAUL PALMER has passed away after being involved in a terrible car wreck near DEL MAR, CA (10/28).

SAN DIEGO radio icon SHOTGUN TOM KELLY, a close friend of PAUL's, said "He was one of the truly good guys in our business." KRDI (THE DRIVE 101.7FM, AM 830)/TUCSON PD/morning man BOBBY RICH was "beyond distraught by the news. He will be missed."

PALMER was most recently CEO of the SAN DIEGO BIG BROTHERS & BIG SISTERS organization. Services are pending.
