Music Industry Veteran Joe Mansfield Passes Away

RIP Joe Mansfield

ALL ACCESS send condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of music industry veteran and former ASYLUM RECORDS NASHVILLE Pres./CEO JOE MANSFIELD, who passed away today (10/31).

His career began at KMAC (KISS-FM)/SAN ANTONIO in 1962, and later included stints as a partner at NASHVILLE-based consulting firm MANSFIELD-MARTINOVICH ASSOCIATES, VP/Marketing and Sales at CAPITOL NASHVILLE/LIBERTY NASHVILLE, VP/Marketing at CAPITOL RECORDS in LOS ANGELES and Division VP/Contemporary Music for RCA RECORDS in NEW YORK. He was also VP/Marketing at COLUMBIA RECORDS and VP/Merchandising for CBS RECORDS in NEW YORK, after working his way up through CBS branch manager positions in ATLANTA and DALLAS.
