ALL ACCESS learned late FRIDAY via ROLLING STONE that after a nine-year break, TOM MORELLO, ZACK DE LA ROCHA and the rest of RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE will reassemble for some dates in 2020. A source close to the band confirmed the news.
The last live performance from RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE was at the LA Rising event in JULY 2011 and a recent INSTAGRAM post from the band listed these cities and dates:
- EL PASO,TX -MARCH 26, 2020
- LAS CRUCES,NM -MARCH 28, 2020
- PHOENIX,AZ- MARCH 30, 2020
- INDIO,CA (COACHELLA) APRIL 10, 2020
- INDIO,CA (COACHELLA) APRIL 17, 2020
While RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE has not played together since 2011, three of their members including MORELLO, bassist TIM COMMERFORD and drummer BRAD WILK teamed up with CHUCK D and CYPRESS HILL's B-REAL to form the group PROPHETS OF RAGE. Meanwhile, frontman ZACK DE LA ROCHA has been less active, making a handful of guest appearances on other artists' projects.
