WNTP/Philadelphia Rebrands As 'AM 990 The Answer'

SALEM MEDIA GROUP has rebranded News-Talk WNTP-A/PHILADELPHIA as "AM 990 THE ANSWER," bringing the station in line with several of the company's other major- and medium-market News-Talk stations. The rebrand accompanies the launch of former crosstown ENTERCOM News-Talk WPHT-A morning host CHRIS STIGALL's new local morning show.

“The change to PHILADELPHIA’s AM 990 THE ANSWER more accurately reflects what we have always desired to be as a radio station -- one that always went deeper into issues that matter to all of us, one that provides answers to the many questions we all have,” said GM LORENZO CALDARA. “With the addition of CHRIS STIGALL in the mornings, we now have the added dimension to focus on local issues just as closely as we can on national issues.
