SAGA COMMUNICATIONS has launched two new brands in PORTLAND, ME. WZAN (970)/101.5 W268CS flips from its Sports format known as “ESPN PORTLAND” to Classic Country as “THE OUTLAW 101.5/970,” with the slogan “legends and young guns.” JONATHAN “JR” RUPPEL, PD of sister Country station WPOR, adds those duties for “THE OUTLAW” as well.

Additionally, News/Talk WGAN’s translator signal moves from 105.5 W288CU to 98.5 W253DA, and the company had debuted “PURE OLDIES 105.5” on W288CU and 100.9 WYNZ-HD2.
