KXXP/Portland, OR Flips To MeTV FM Format

MARCO BROADCASTING Contemporary Christian KXXP/WHITE SALMON, WA, a rimshot into the PORTLAND market, has flipped to ENVISION NETWORKS and WEIGEL BROADCASTING's Classic Hits/Oldies MeTV FM format. The station previously aired WAY-FM programming before WAY MEDIA bought another signal closer to the market.

“There is no radio station in PORTLAND serving baby boomers, the fastest growing age demo,” said MARCO President MARC PASKIN. “No other station plays the oldies in PORTLAND. I believe we will be in the top 5 within one year, if not sooner.”
