WEST VIRGINIA RADIO CORP. has hired ADRI STUHR for nights at Country WKKW/MORGANTOWN effective MONDAY, NOVEMBER 11th. She arrives from iHEARTMEDIA/SAN DIEGO, where she worked for more than 10 years at Top 40 KHTS (CHANNEL 93.3) and Hot AC KMYI (STAR 94.1) as a producer for both stations and night host on KMYI. She had previous radio stops at KMVR/LAS CRUCES, NM and DULUTH, MN stations KDAL and KTCO.
STUHR replaces CASEY ATKINS, who moved to afternoons when former p.m. driver STACIE “ROBERTS” THRUSH departed in APRIL (NET NEWS 4/12).
PD MIKE VINCENT said, "We had a nationwide search for our our next time star on this powerhouse heritage Country station, and we really hit pay dirt with ADRI. She’s fun, personable, and has such a bright and entertaining sound, and we can wait for her to take MORGANTOWN and the surrounding area by storm. We are so excited to introduce Northern WV and SW PA to ‘ADRI After Dark.’ I am so jazzed that ADRI will be a part of such a talented team here at WKKW.”
Added STUHR, "I am over the moon to be a part of WKKW! I made the 2,400 mile drive out to WEST VIRGINIA and I have such excitement to bring my passion for Country radio to MORGANTOWN! It's an amazing station with great talented people. Thank you CHRISTIAN MILLER and MIKE VINCENT for making me a part of the team! I would also like to thank DALE MILLER and the WEST VIRGINIA RADIO CORPORATION for this amazing opportunity! Go Mountaineers!"
Congratulate her here.
