CMT To Honor Brandi Carlile With 'Impact Award'

Singer-songwriter BRANDI CARLILE will be the recipient of CMT's 2019 Next Women of Country “Impact Award.” CARLILE will be presented with the award at the 7th annual CMT Next Women of Country celebration, taking place TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 12th at the CMA Theater at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in NASHVILLE. The event will be co-hosted by Country artist MARTINA MCBRIDE and CMT’s SVP/Music Strategy & Talent LESLIE FRAM.

CARLILE will be the fourth recipient of the award, following in the footsteps of previous recipients, COLUMBIA NASHVILLE's MAREN MORRIS, BLACK RIVER ENTERTAINMENT's KELSEA BALLERINI and WARNER RECORDS' BRANDY CLARK.

“Not only is she one of the greatest performers of our time, she’s an incredible advocate and champion for her fellow female artists, lending her support and star power to up-and-coming artists in the genre,” said FRAM. “We are truly thrilled to celebrate her monumental achievements, both as a solo artist, producer, and as a member of the groundbreaking group THE HIGHWOMEN, with this Impact Award.”
