Industry Veteran Peter Puzo Passes Away At 83

Condolences

Condolences to Country radio and record industry veteran LISA PUZO STRICKLAND and her husband, COLLECTIVE ARTISTS MANAGEMENT Pres. and 262 FIVE partner BRINSON STRICKLAND, on the loss of LISA’s father, PETER PUZO. He passed away on SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 3rd at the age of 83.

While he later shifted to real estate, PETER PUZO began his career in the record business, with stops including LIBERTY RECORDS, CBS RECORDS, CBS DISTRIBUTION, and MCA RECORDS in UNIVERSAL  CITY, where he was VP of Credit and Finance. PUZO was instrumental in career highlights for such artists as JOHNNY MATHIS, BARBRA STREISAND, and OLIVIA NEWTON-JOHN, among others.

He is survived by his wife, CLARA, four daughters and nine grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you take a moment to sit in the sun, laugh out loud, and bring your family and friends together for SUNDAY dinner.
