Miley Cyrus Has Vocal Cord Surgery

According to TMZ, RCA superstar MILEY CYRUS has undergone successful vocal cord surgery, for an unspecified issue, following an earlier bout with tonsillitis last month.

MILEY was already on speaking rest from the tonsillitis -- and that will have to continue a while longer as she is ordered to "be silent" to give things a proper chance to heal.
