SiriusXM Billy Joel Channel To Air Live 'Q&A' Special

SIRIUSXM's limited-run BILLY JOEL CHANNEL will feature a special live broadcast with JOEL at the piano taking questions from SIRIUSXM subscribers in the audience and on the phone. "BILLY JOEL: AN EVENING OF QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS... and a little music too" will air live DECEMBER 5th at 8p (ET) from the FAENA THEATER in MIAMI BEACH. An additional special, "BILLY JOEL A TO Z," will also air on the channel, with the singer/songwriter's studio recordings played in alphabetical order; an accompanying playlist will be available on PANDORA as well.

JOEL said, “It’s an evening of questions and answers… and a little music too. I’m bringing my guitar player, my bass player and my sax player. They’ll bring some color, which will sound better on the radio. If the opportunity to do a song presents itself, and it’s the right song at the right time, it’s nice to have the colors. I think that format is great, it works well."

The BILLY JOEL CHANNEL is scheduled to run through DECEMBER 6th at 3a (ET).
