WEIGEL BROADCASTING Oldies WRME-LP (MeTV FM 87.7)/CHICAGO has entered a partnership with crosstown CBS O&O WBBM-TV (CBS 2)/CHICAGO for news and weather reports. CBS 2 is providing ten  news and weather updates per day to MeTV FM during morning and afternoon drive time.  

“In the most recent radio ratings, NIELSEN reported WRME, MeTV FM as a top ten station in total day 6+ as well as top ten in the midday, afternoon and evening day parts. Adding news from CBS 2 CHICAGO should serve all our listeners well,” said WEIGEL Vice Chairman NEAL SABIN.

CBS2 Pres./GM DEREK DALTON added, “This is a wonderful opportunity for CBS 2 and MeTV FM to join our audiences.  Providing daily news content to the MeTV FM listeners, CBS 2 is taking another step to extend its reach in support of our communities.“
