Jim Shea Named President

Veteran broadcaster JIM SHEA has been named President of EL DORADO BROADCASTERS, overseeing the company's market clusters in VICTORVILLE, CA and YUMA, AZ. SHEA spent the past seven years as CEO of MAPLETON COMMUNICATIONS.

SHEA said, “There are not many opportunities like EL DORADO Broadcasting in radio right now: a private, well-run company with great dominant positions in its existing markets and a conservative balance sheet. We are ready and able to grow when the right opportunity comes along."

Prior to MAPLETON, SHEA was President/CEO for nearly 10 years at OPUS MEDIA PARTNERS. He was SVP at CLEAR CHANNEL from 2000-2003.
