APPLE MUSIC's BEATS 1 has tapped NASHVILLE singer-songwriter and podcaster KELLEIGH BANNEN as host of its new weekly radio show, “Today’s Country.” The program coincides with the launch of APPLE MUSIC’s new playlist of the same name (NET NEWS 11/8).

Debuting TODAY (11/15) at 4p (CT),  the first episode will showcase Country music hits as well as an interview between BANNEN and BIG MACHINE RECORDS' LADY ANTEBELLUM discussing the trio’s new album, "Ocean," available now. Watch the interview here.

Earlier this week, BANNEN celebrated the new show with APPLE MUSIC’s Global Creative Dir. and host ZANE LOWE with a live broadcast in NASHVILLE featuring guests MIRANDA LAMBERT, ASHLEY MCBRYDE, LITTLE BIG TOWN, JASON ALDEAN, KEITH URBAN, LUKE BRYAN, DAN + SHAY and more.
