Liberated Syndication Revenues Up, Income Off For Third Quarter 2019

LIBERATED SYNDICATION third quarter 2019 revenue rose 9% year-to-year to $6.2 million, with the LIBSYN podcast hosting and advertising platform responsible for $3.6 million of that figure and the PAIR NETWORKS platform contributing $2.6 million. Net income fell from $1.3 million to $819,384 (4 to 3 cents/diluted share).
Podcast hosting subscriptions on the LIBSYN platform rose 13%, with the number of podcasts now up to 67,000 and episodes at 5.6 million.
"Both the LIBSYN and PAIR platforms delivered strong operating performances during the quarter, driving LIBERATED SYNDICATION's top line growth for the third quarter," said CEO CHRIS SPENCER. "Podcasting is growing rapidly, and our strategy continues to position LIBSYN to capture that growth as new shows are added to our platform daily. We remain focused on offering our expanding customer base industry-leading services through LIBSYN and PAIR and are confident this approach will allow us to continue delivering for our podcasters, their audiences, and our shareholders."
