KCYY/San Antonio Morning Co-Host J.R. Jaus Departs

Morning show co-host J.R. JAUS has departed COX MEDIA GROUP Country KCYY (Y100)/SAN ANTONIO with the expiration of his contract. Co-host BETH CHANDLER is handling mornings solo for now.  

JAUS joined the station in 2016, and previously did afternoons at sister station WWKA (K92.3)/ORLANDO for two years. Prior to ORLANDO, JAUS worked in radio, TV, and film for 10 years in SAN DIEGO and LOS ANGELES. In FEBRUARY, JAUS added hosting duties for UNITED STATIONS RADIO NETWORKS (USRN’s) weekend Country countdown show, “THE 20TWENTY COUNTRY COUNTDOWN” (NET NEWS 2/11).
