VIC MICHAEL's KONA COAST RADIO, LLC is selling News-Talk KJJC-A/MURRAY, UT and K260DR/BLUFFDALE, UT to ROGER LONNQUIST's NORTHWEST CAPITAL CORPORATION for $90,000 ($9,000 cash, $81,000 in a promissory note).
In other filings with the FCC, RIVERFRONT BROADCASTING OF KEOKUK, INC. is transferring K227DO/KEOKUK, IA to KEOKUK BROADCASTING, INC.; the translator was inadvertently left out of the since-closed deal between the parties earlier this year that sold Country KOKX-A/KEOKUK, IA and Classic Hits WCEZ (Z93)/CARTHAGE, IL to the same transferee for $245,000.
Applying for STAs were LINCOLN COUNTY BROADCASTERS, INC. (KTNY/LIBBY, MT, reduced power due to transmitter issues); MULTICULTURAL RADIO BROADCASTING LICENSEE, LLC (KAHZ-A/POMONA, CA and KALI-A/WEST COVINA, CA, operation at variance due to tower issues); and ROGER WILLIAMS UNIVERSITY (WQRI/BRISTOL, RI, reduced power due to transmitter failure).
And KODIAK ISLAND BROADCASTING CO., INC. has filed for an extension of its Silent STA for KVOK-A/KODIAK, AK due to a lost tower lease.
