COUNTRY MUSIC ASSOCIATION's (CMA) "Songwriter Series" made a performance stop at the ORDWAY MUSIC THEATER in the MINNEAPOLIS-ST. PAUL area yesterday (11/20). The show included singer-songwriters MATTHEW RAMSEY, TREVOR ROSEN, and BRAD TURSI of RCA NASHVILLE’s OLD DOMINION, as well as hit songwriter JOSH OSBORNE. As previously reported (NET NEWS 10/18), a portion of ticket sales benefited the CMA’s philanthropic arm, CMA FOUNDATION.
As part of the visit, the COLUMBIA HEIGHTS PUBLIC SCHOOLS in COLUMBIA HEIGHTS, MN received a donation for a new band room from the CMA FOUNDATION and U.S. BANK's “Places To Play" initiative. The group of "Songwriter Series" performers also led a Q&A songwriting panel with the students prior to the concert.
